Licensed Plumber – Journeyperson (Service & Installation)  

Are you a licensed plumber who takes real pride in doing the job right? TNB is looking for a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and drainage systems in residential and light commercial properties
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues using technical knowledge and manufacturer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts and material needs
• Work closely with TNB’s dispatch team to stay efficiently scheduled and supported throughout your day
• Complete service documentation accurately for every job
• Provide clear, honest communication with customers about repairs, recommendations, and options
• Mentor apprentices and help them build real skill
• Participate in TNB’s on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service. This is a required part of the role and a key part of what sets TNB apart in the community
• Follow TNB’s quality and safety standards on every job

Qualifications

• Valid Plumbing Journeyperson License
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, water distribution, and drainage systems
• Experience with pipe fitting, soldering, and general plumbing repairs
• Knowledge of construction practices and job site safety requirements
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in residential and light commercial plumbing service and installation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills, you’ll be representing TNB directly with customers
• Comfortable working independently on service calls, and as part of a team when needed
• Takes pride in doing the job right, not just finishing it
• Reliable, shows up when it counts

Compensation & Benefits

• $40 to $60 per hour, based on experience
• Premium pay for on-call time, on top of your regular rate
• A fair, scheduled on-call rotation so you know your dates well ahead of time
